All-Stars

The All-Star Program is by INVITATION ONLY. Players from the Fall Season are nominated by their Fall Coach. The Region's All-Star Committee, with input from the selected All-Star Coach(s), selects the All-Star team from the pool of nominated players. Those selected to participate, will be notified by telephone and/or email.

All-Star nominations should be viewed as an honor and your child should be proud of this achievement. They were nominated and selected because their coach viewed them as a great athlete and team player.

The All-Star teams from Region 85 will participate in a tournament in mid-January (see specific dates below) against the All-Star teams from other Area 11L regions.

All-Star FAQ/Information

What Divisions participate in the All-Star program?

All-Star teams are formed from participants in the Fall 10U, 12U and 14U divisions. Players from the EXTRA or AYSO United programs are not eligible to participate in the All-Star Program.

Player Eligibility Requirements
Player must have been registrered in the Fall season AND participated in at least 50% of the Fall season games.
Player must not have had any disciplinary actions

When/where are All-Star games played?

All-Star matches are typically played in mid/late January
Matches will be held at various local Area 11-L fields - depending on field permits and availability. (i.e. Lake Forest, RSM, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, San Clemente, Laguna Beach, San Juan Capistrano, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Niguel)
Champions from each division will have the opportunity to represent Area 11-L at the Section 11 All-Star Tournament in mid February.

My child was selected to participate in All-Stars, how do I register him/her?

All participants in the All-Star Program (Players, Coaches, etc.) must register online for the FALL ALL-STAR PROGRAM.
Parents should log into their AYSO Region 85 account and select the FALL ALL-STAR PROGRAM.
Failure to register online by December 1 could result in an invitation to participate, being withdrawn.
ONLY those individuals contacted by the Region 85 All-Star Coach or Region All-Star Committee should select and register for the All-Star Program.
Registering in the All-Star Program DOES NOT register a player for the Spring Select Program. Players and Volunteers MUST register for each of the respective programs individually.
Registration fees for the All-Star Program are non-refundable.
